This program can be used for testing reliability of the graphics card and other the OpenCL devices. It was designed especially for testing GPU memory. CLGPUStress binaries are available for Linux and Windows operating systems (both for x86 and x86-64 architectures).
Because this program can be dangerous for devices, we recommend to read following caution:
THIS PROGRAM IS VERY DANGEROUS FOR GRAPHICS CARD AND CAN OVERHEAT OR DAMAGE YOUR GRAPHICS CARD! PLEASE USE CAREFULLY THIS PROGRAM. I RECOMMEND TO RUN THIS PROGRAM ON ALL STOCK PARAMETERS OF THE DEVICES (CLOCKS, VOLTAGES, ESPECIALLY GPU MEMORY CLOCK). YOU ARE USING THIS SOFTWARE ONLY AT YOUR OWN RISK!
Program is distributed under the GPLv2 license. For more information please read LICENSE file inside the program package.
CLGPUstess requires following things:
Program still is in early development stage and can behaves unexpectedly. Current program version is 0.0.9.4
CLGPUstess sources are available at https://github.com/matszpk/clgpustress and at Downloads page
CLGPUstess binaries are available at Downloads page and at http://files.nativeboinc.org/offtopic/clgpustress/
Program doesn't require any installation. Can be run as standalone executable. Program doesn't save any configuration in any place.
CLGPUstess is distributed together with README.md file which contains documentation for program. The content of this file also is available at main site of at github.
Program has been tested on the Radeon HD 7850 graphics card and effectively detected errors in GPU memory (after few minutes a testing). Program can be significantly less efficient on the NVIDIA graphics cards or Intel GPUs. If you would like to help me to improve efficiently of a detection of the hardware errors by this program, please contact me.
You can send email to me with described bugs/issues or you can report issues on the github project site (if you have github account).
